finally chopped the ugly plastic fender of the rear, it looks *so* much better now. added carbon fiber side pods (that bit below the seat with the metal badge) that I picked up super cheap. Also rattle canned the belt covers (the L looking thing), heel guards, and sprocket cover last time I worked on the bike, circa the "before" pic about 2 months ago. (Very Poorly) slotted the sprocket cover this weekend as well, but didn't take a pic of it. I'll probably replace it with a cf one soon.

i've got a new kanye west song ("gold digger" featuring jamie foxx doing his ray charles impression) stuck in my head. its not out as a single and doesn't come out till next week. It's driving me crazy cause I really want to hear the song. For a "mainstream" artist, Kanye continuously impresses me. I've yet to hear one of his songs that I didn't like. I wore out my copy of "college dropout" and am enjoying listening to it again. I can't wait for "late registration" next week, so far it looks to be more of the same brilliance. Did anyone else get blindsided by how good he is? I turned several anti-hip-hop/anti-mainstream people on to him when the first album dropped, and they were mostly in agreement with me. Hell, even my *mom* liked one of his songs.
